AI visibility is the share of tracked AI answers, for a market's key questions, that name the agent, measured question by question rather than through one search or broad score. On average, Recasi Local clients see about 30% more AI visibility within the first 2 weeks. The average is about 60% within the first 6 weeks, measured as how often AI answers name them for their market's key questions. Results vary by market, and AI answers change, so no result is guaranteed. This article describes our method, how the average visibility figures are calculated, and where the measurement stops.
The baseline before any work
Before Recasi Local changes a profile, publishes a page, or works toward an outside mention, we take a baseline. We identify the buyer and seller questions that matter in the market, ask them, and record who is named. The baseline is not a verdict on the business. It is the starting record used for later comparison, and it is taken before any of that work begins.
A useful set of questions might include selling in a local area, buying a certain type of home, moving to the area, or finding an agent with a relevant specialty. The questions should reflect the work the agent wants more of and the reasons a person might choose that agent. For each question, we record the answer place by place. That record shows whether the name appears, who else is mentioned, and what the answer emphasizes, so one response is not treated as the whole story.
The places we check
Recasi Local checks the places where buyers and sellers may ask for help: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google's AI answers. Each can respond differently to the same question, so checking more than one place matters. We do not treat a mention in one place as a result everywhere else. AI answers can change with the person asking, the day, the location, the wording, and the information available to the tool.
The reason for returning to the same set is to make the comparison useful over time. It is not a claim of control over any one answer. A difference between tools is a reason to read the report question by question, rather than to collapse every mention into one score. The same reading applies when an answer changes from one check to the next.
How we calculate visibility lifts
On average, Recasi Local clients see about 30% more AI visibility within the first 2 weeks. The average is about 60% within the first 6 weeks, measured as how often AI answers name them for their market's key questions. Results vary by market, and AI answers change, so no result is guaranteed. A 30% lift means being named in about 30% more of the tracked answers than at the baseline. To measure these average lifts, we ask the same questions again and compare the new record with the baseline.
We use the same questions so the change is about what the answers say, not a different set of prompts. The report looks at the share of tracked answers that name the agent and explains that comparison. For example, if the baseline shows the name in 10 tracked answers, a 30% lift means being named in about 13 comparable answers. That example does not mean every answer will name the agent, that a single answer proves a pattern, or that a buyer will choose the agent.
It is a simple way to describe an average lift across a broader set of local questions. Premium and Max include monthly reporting and updates, and Max also includes weekly tracking. Reporting is tied to the questions and answer places we check, so the work can be read in that context. The plans can be compared on our pricing page.
How seller calls fit the report
AI visibility is not the same thing as a call or a closed transaction. Visibility tells us whether an agent is named in the tracked answers. Seller calls are counted separately, from the calls the client reports to us. What we aim for is 1–2 seller calls a week in smaller markets and up to 7 a week in busier markets, depending on season and market. That aim is not a measured result, and it is not a promise.
Market conditions, timing, the agent's offer, and many other factors affect whether someone reaches out. We keep the two measures separate so that neither one is asked to stand in for the other. The separation is part of an accurate report.
| Measure | What it shows | What it does not promise |
|---|---|---|
| AI visibility | Whether the name appears in tracked answers | A lead or a transaction |
| Seller calls | Calls reported by the client | That every mention creates a call |
Keeping the two measures separate matters for the way the numbers are used. We can report when the name appears in the answers we track, and we can record the calls the client tells us about. We do not turn either number into a claim that every mention creates a lead. A mention is evidence about an answer we checked. A reported call is evidence about a conversation the client described.
What Recasi Local does with the report
Recasi Local is built only for real estate agents and teams. We use reporting to guide done-for-you work: consistent names, areas, and records; local pages in the agent's voice; and outside mentions that support the same account. The client spends about 15 minutes a month sharing things they already have. We write, publish, and maintain the work.
We also protect the market. Recasi Local works with one agent or team per agreed market, and the ZIP codes stay locked while the client is with us. Reporting does not replace judgment. If an answer does not name the agent, we look at the public record behind the question and at the work that can make the business clearer. We do not chase a single response, and we do not offer a promise about a top spot.
Limits we state plainly
AI answers vary by person, day, location, and wording. They can name different agents for similar questions, and there are no guarantees of rankings, leads, or results. That is why we report what we see, rather than claiming that a score settles the question. The 2-week and 6-week figures are average client results, measured against each client's baseline.
Results vary by market, and AI answers change, so no result is guaranteed. The report should be useful whether the picture improves quickly or the work needs more time. Agents who want a done-for-you, real-estate-only partner that protects the market and explains the reporting can check your market or book a call. The governing principle is to compare the same questions in the same places, and to keep visibility separate from calls.
Frequently asked questions
What does AI visibility mean for a real estate agent?
For Recasi Local, it is the share of tracked AI answers for the market's key questions that name the agent. We use it to report on a defined set of answers. We do not use it to promise a ranking or a lead.
When does Recasi Local take the baseline?
Recasi Local takes the baseline before work starts. We ask the market's key buyer and seller questions and record who is named, question by question and place by place.
What does the 30% AI visibility lift mean?
It is the average lift our clients see after 2 weeks, compared with their own baseline. Results vary by market, and AI answers change, so no result is guaranteed. The comparison uses the same questions and the same places.
Does AI visibility mean seller calls?
No. Recasi Local counts seller calls reported by the client separately from AI visibility. There is no guarantee of leads or results.
Which Recasi Local plans include reporting?
Recasi Local includes visibility tracking across plans, with monthly reporting and updates in Premium and Max and weekly tracking in Max. See pricing for the plan details.
